Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door visits, community events, and referrals to promote Amartha’s loan programs.
- Provide on‑site economic counseling and financial literacy support to household members, helping them understand budgeting, savings, and responsible borrowing.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting criteria, risk policies, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with the credit assessment team to submit accurate documentation and follow up on pending approvals.
- Execute timely collection activities, including friendly reminders, payment scheduling, and negotiation of repayment plans, while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach.
- Maintain detailed field reports, update the CRM system, and share insights on market trends, borrower behavior, and competitive dynamics with the regional manager.
- Participate in regular training sessions, community workshops, and team meetings to continuously improve product knowledge and field techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- Gender: Open to all genders; preference may be given to female candidates for community‑focused outreach.
- Own a reliable motorbike or car for daily travel within the Sumedang area.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, attention to detail, strong communication skills, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
- Willingness to work in the field every day, including weekends if required for special campaigns.
- No prior experience required; however, experience in sales, community development, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Basic digital literacy – ability to use smartphones, data entry applications, and simple analytical tools.
