Introduction

Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated Remedial Officer – Collection to join our dynamic team in Melak, Kalimantan. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring overdue accounts receivable (A/R) are collected efficiently and in accordance with company policies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers to achieve collection targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue loans, ensuring all activities are completed within established timelines.
  • Monitor A/R aging reports daily, identify high‑risk accounts, and prioritize collection actions accordingly.
  • Conduct outbound calls, send formal reminders, and arrange face‑to‑face meetings with delinquent borrowers to negotiate repayment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system, documenting agreements, promises to pay, and any disputes.
  • Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to understand loan terms, assess borrower creditworthiness, and provide feedback for future risk mitigation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting collection rates, outstanding balances, and any escalated issues for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to debt recovery, data privacy, and consumer protection.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices, negotiation techniques, and changes in financial regulations.
  • Support the development of improved collection strategies, including the use of digital channels, automated reminders, and incentive programs for timely payments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate degree) or S1 (bachelor’s degree) in any discipline; graduates from any field are welcome.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services (experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory for fresh graduates).
  • Maximum age: 30 years.
  • Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, persistence, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Proficiency in using collection software, Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and adapt to occasional overtime during peak periods.
  • Male candidates (as per the current posting requirement).
  • Willingness to be placed at an Adira Finance office within the candidate’s domicile area.
