Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Area Sumedang – Field Collection professional to join our dynamic collections team. Based in Sumedang, this role involves direct interaction with debtor accounts, delivering warning notices, and negotiating repayment solutions. The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and provides the opportunity to develop strong negotiation and field‑work skills while contributing to the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Visit debtor locations within the assigned Sumedang area to deliver Surat Peringatan (SP) when arrears exceed 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s situation, conduct a thorough analysis of outstanding obligations, and document findings accurately.
- Negotiate realistic payment options tailored to each debtor’s circumstances, aiming to secure timely repayments.
- Monitor promised payment dates, follow up diligently, and re‑collect on missed installments.
- Track down customers who are unreachable at their listed residences or offices, using local knowledge and investigative techniques.
- Ensure all customer data—including phone numbers, addresses, and contact persons—is up‑to‑date in the system.
- Prepare detailed activity reports after each field visit and discuss outcomes with the supervising manager.
- Maintain a daily log of collection activities, noting challenges, resolutions, and any escalations required.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, legal, and customer service to streamline the collection process.
- Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards while representing the organization in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in field collection, courier services, or online ride‑hailing (e.g., Ojek Online).
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and personal motor vehicle for field mobility.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Sumedang region or similar urban/rural territories.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple debtor cases simultaneously.
- Gender: open to all candidates.
- Age limit: maximum 50 years.
