Introduction
PT. MultiFinance Indonesia, a leading provider of consumer financing solutions in East Java, is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Account Officer to join our growing team in Ponorogo. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely collection of overdue accounts (A/R Overdue 61‑120 days) and supporting the overall health of our loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver with strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of multifinance business processes, and a commitment to achieving collection targets while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage overdue receivables ranging from 61 to 120 days, ensuring all actions are taken within established timelines.
- Conduct outbound calls, send reminder letters, and arrange face‑to‑face meetings with borrowers to negotiate repayment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system, updating account status and documenting borrower communications.
- Collaborate with the Credit Risk and Legal departments to assess high‑risk accounts and initiate legal proceedings when necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and actionable insights.
- Assist in the development and refinement of collection policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on effective negotiation techniques and customer service best practices.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings to share market feedback, helping product teams tailor financing solutions to customer needs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or S1 in any discipline; candidates with a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) are also considered if they demonstrate strong aptitude.
- Age: 30 years or younger, with a maximum of 29 years preferred for fresh graduates.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: 0–1 year of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role; prior exposure to multifinance environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with diverse borrowers.
- High level of integrity, diligence, meticulous attention to detail, and a resilient, persistent attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CRM or loan management software.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
