Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments for in‑patients, out‑patients, and community health programs, interpreting laboratory results and medical histories.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans, including dietary prescriptions, therapeutic feeds, and lifestyle counseling, aligned with evidence‑based guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to integrate nutrition interventions into overall treatment protocols.
- Provide nutrition education workshops for patients, families, and hospital staff, focusing on disease‑specific diets, weight management, and chronic disease prevention.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust nutrition plans as needed, and document outcomes in the hospital’s electronic health record system.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, contributing expertise on nutritional risk and intervention strategies.
- Assist in the development and review of hospital nutrition policies, menus, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of national nutrition standards, research advancements, and emerging therapeutic diets.
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous coverage for critical care and emergency services.
- Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and confidentiality standards in all patient interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/S1 in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related health field.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) for health professionals, specifically for Ahli Gizi.
- High school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent is the minimum baseline; a higher degree is strongly preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in hospitals or health facilities is a valuable advantage.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to work independently when required.
- Excellent communication skills, honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physical and mental fitness to handle demanding clinical environments.
- Willingness to be stationed at RSU Raffa Majenang, Cilacap, with a work schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00 (shift work as needed).
- Proficiency in basic medical software and documentation; familiarity with nutrition assessment tools is a plus.
