Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Analis Laboratorium Kimia to join our dynamic team at a leading chemical manufacturing facility located in Gresik. This full‑time position offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule (08:00‑17:00) and provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a real‑world industrial environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior scientists and production engineers to ensure that all chemical processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non‑routine chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using advanced instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, ICP‑OES, and spectrophotometers.
- Prepare samples, calibrate equipment, and conduct method validation to guarantee accurate and reproducible results.
- Document test procedures, record observations, and generate comprehensive analytical reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory instruments, schedule preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the maintenance team.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), occupational safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including production, quality assurance, and R&D—to resolve product quality concerns quickly.
- Participate in internal training sessions, safety briefings, and external workshops to stay updated on emerging analytical technologies.
Requirements
- Male candidates only; must be able to work on site in Gresik and attend an in‑person interview.
- Maximum age of 30 years at the time of application.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Academic performance: GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- Vision requirement: candidates who wear glasses are not eligible for this role.
- Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation and analytical techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to follow precise procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to adhere to a fixed work schedule: Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
