Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Asisten Apoteker Profesional to join our pharmacy team in a dynamic hospital environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates and experienced pharmacy professionals alike to contribute to patient care, medication safety, and the overall efficiency of our pharmaceutical services. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and is open to candidates of any gender.
Responsibilities
- Assist the chief pharmacist in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescription medications accurately.
- Verify the legality and completeness of prescriptions, ensuring compliance with national pharmacy regulations and hospital protocols.
- Maintain and update the medication inventory, performing routine stock checks and reporting any shortages or expirations.
- Provide counseling to patients and healthcare staff regarding proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Participate in medication reconciliation during patient admission, transfer, and discharge to prevent drug interactions.
- Support the preparation of intravenous admixtures, compounding sterile products, and other specialized pharmaceutical services as required.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Document all dispensing activities in the pharmacy information system, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
- Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with emerging drugs, clinical guidelines, and best practices.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects, safety audits, and the development of standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy (Farmasi).
- Active and valid Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) as required by Indonesian law.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; however, prior experience in a hospital pharmacy or related setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.
- No specific age restriction; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and basic computer literacy.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
