As a Staff Lapangan, you will act as the frontline ambassador of Amartha’s mission, connecting prospective borrowers with our capital‑access programs, providing economic guidance, and ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications and repayments. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the West Bandung region, presenting Amartha’s loan products and explaining the benefits of joining the platform.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, offering tailored financial guidance and support to existing members to improve their livelihood outcomes.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each request complies with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate the full loan approval process, including documentation collection, data entry, and communication with the credit team.
- Manage the collection cycle by following up with borrowers on repayment schedules, handling queries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate field reports, daily activity logs, and performance metrics using the company’s digital tools.
- Collaborate with local community leaders, partner NGOs, and other stakeholders to expand Amartha’s outreach and strengthen community trust.
- Participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and feedback meetings to continuously improve field operations and service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years is acceptable for experienced candidates).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
- Own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) for daily field visits.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Resilience and toughness to work independently in diverse field conditions.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Ability to work full‑time on‑site from Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
