Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system efficiently to handle cash, credit, and mobile payments for food and beverage orders.
- Prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty mocktails, while adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
- Assemble and present food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snack plates, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
- Deliver prepared orders promptly to customers’ tables, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including regular wiping of equipment, countertops, and coffee machines.
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the café area, such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal, to uphold hygiene standards.
- Conduct daily stock checks, record inventory levels, and communicate shortages to the shift supervisor.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and seasonal menu items, collaborating with the marketing team when needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and handling complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new beverage trends, safety protocols, and service techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age limit: Up to 26 years old; however, exceptional candidates of any age may be considered.
- At least 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting; fresh graduates are welcomed if they demonstrate strong motivation.
- Proficiency with bar equipment, espresso machines, grinders, and basic food‑preparation tools.
- Excellent communication and public‑speaking skills to interact confidently with guests.
- Strong work ethic: punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible shifts—including opening, middle, closing, weekends, public holidays, and special events.
- Personal attributes: active, quick‑thinking, initiative‑driven, highly dedicated, honest, courteous, and well‑groomed.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
