Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty drinks according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the work station, equipment, and dining area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate and troubleshoot espresso machines, grinders, and other bar equipment, performing routine maintenance and reporting any issues to management.
- Manage inventory levels, receive deliveries, and ensure that coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies are stocked and rotated properly.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, upbeat manner, taking orders, answering questions about coffee origins, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service during peak hours and to support a cohesive, team‑first culture.
- Continuously improve product knowledge through training sessions, tastings, and self‑directed study of coffee trends and brewing techniques.
- Uphold the café’s brand image by maintaining a neat, well‑groomed appearance and presenting a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; diversity is valued.
- Experience as a barista is preferred but not mandatory; a strong enthusiasm for coffee is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a fun, customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work both full‑time and part‑time schedules, with flexibility for evening shifts (18:00‑03:00, Monday‑Saturday).
- Positive mindset, organized, and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Professional appearance: clean, well‑groomed, and presentable.
