This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated university student (minimum semester 7) or recent graduate who wants to grow in the fast‑moving hospitality industry while working flexible hours from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty drinks according to our standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and service area throughout the shift.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices safely, performing routine calibrations and minor troubleshooting.
- Engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service, offering recommendations and explaining flavor profiles.
- Manage cash transactions, process digital payments, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, notifying the manager when re‑stock is needed.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging coffee trends, latte art techniques, and seasonal menu innovations.
- Create and curate engaging social‑media content (photos, short videos, stories) that highlights new drinks, promotions, and behind‑the‑scenes moments.
- Participate in weekly team briefings, share feedback, and contribute ideas for service improvements.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 26 years; must be a current student in at least semester 7 or a recent graduate.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Prior barista experience is preferred, though motivated newcomers with a strong passion for coffee are also considered.
- Own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) is advantageous for punctuality and occasional off‑site events.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with current social‑media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and a knack for spotting trending content.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing principles, latte art, and food safety regulations.
