Responsibilities

- Assist in normal deliveries, monitor labor progress, and intervene promptly when complications arise, following established clinical protocols.
- Perform post‑natal care, including newborn assessments, breastfeeding support, and postpartum health monitoring for mothers.
- Administer immunizations, health screenings, and family planning services in accordance with national health guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and data protection policies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care pathways.
- Participate in community outreach programs, health fairs, and educational workshops to raise awareness about reproductive health.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest evidence‑based practices, attend continuing education courses, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, patient safety, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Midwifery (Bidanan) or equivalent; a S1 degree is highly preferred.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) license valid for independent practice.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or community health settings.
- Unmarried female candidates are preferred, aligning with specific cultural considerations of the service area.
- Strong teamwork abilities; able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff.
- Excellent communication skills; able to convey complex health information in a clear, compassionate manner.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Proficiency in health service ethics, post‑natal care, and reproductive health management.
