Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a warm, professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, inputting them into the POS (point‑of‑sale) system and communicating any special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and responding to additional guest needs.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS billing with precision, issuing receipts and managing tips according to restaurant policy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and restocking service stations.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure seamless service flow and resolve any guest concerns.
- Uphold all health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, reporting any incidents or irregularities immediately.
- Participate in regular staff briefings, training sessions, and menu tastings to stay informed about new offerings and service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 17–25 years old.
- All genders are welcome; however, candidates who are Muslim are preferred to align with the restaurant’s cultural environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting; prior cashier experience is a strong advantage for female candidates.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, approachable, and capable of building rapport with diverse customers.
- Strong communication abilities and confidence when interacting directly with guests.
- Quick, adaptable, and able to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods.
- Disciplined, reliable, and able to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented atmosphere.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic cash handling.
- Presentable appearance and a commitment to personal grooming standards.
