Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan products and guiding prospects through the enrollment process.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching and support to existing members, helping them manage finances, improve cash‑flow, and grow their small businesses.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and perform thorough feasibility analyses of loan applications, adhering to Amartha’s risk‑assessment policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, survey findings, and loan documentation using our digital platform.
- Execute timely collection activities, including polite reminders and negotiated repayment plans, while preserving respectful client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the regional operations team, sharing field insights that inform product enhancements and outreach strategies.
- Participate in regular training sessions and community events to stay current on financial inclusion best practices and local market trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years for senior candidates).
- Both male and female candidates are welcome; female applicants are given preference.
- Own reliable motor vehicle for daily field visits.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Resilience and adaptability to work independently in diverse rural environments.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or finance is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on‑site every weekday, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
