Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cook – Food Preparation Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and plate a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, labeling, and waste disposal.
- Assist in inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Collaborate closely with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Perform daily kitchen cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures, making adjustments as needed to guarantee consistency and quality.
- Support the preparation of mise en place, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling garnishes.
- Follow health‑code regulations, ensuring that all food is handled, cooked, and served safely.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve culinary techniques, knife skills, and knowledge of new menu items.
- Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time for scheduled shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and communicating any scheduling conflicts promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma, SMK, or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No prior professional cooking experience required; fresh graduates and motivated newcomers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong work ethic: willing to work hard, stay resilient under pressure, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Positive attitude and courteous demeanor when interacting with teammates and customers.
- Not currently enrolled in an educational program; able to commit full‑time to the role.
