Introduction
We are seeking a highly qualified English Language Teacher – Academic Programs to join our dynamic faculty for the upcoming academic year. This full‑time position is based in a vibrant, multicultural environment and is designed for a native English speaker with a passion for teaching, curriculum development, and student success. The successful candidate will begin in August 2026, working six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, and will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality English instruction to diverse learners across our academic programs.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver engaging English language lessons that align with national and international standards.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing clear feedback and actionable improvement strategies.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials, including textbooks, multimedia resources, and online modules, to meet the needs of varying proficiency levels.
- Facilitate interactive classroom activities such as debates, presentations, and group projects that foster critical thinking and communication skills.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, program coordinators, and academic advisors to integrate English instruction with other subject areas.
- Mentor junior teachers and conduct professional development workshops on best practices in language instruction.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and performance reports in compliance with institutional policies.
- Participate in parent‑teacher conferences, school events, and community outreach programs to promote language learning.
- Stay current with emerging trends in language pedagogy, technology‑enhanced teaching, and assessment methodologies.
- Support visa‑related processes for international students, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
Requirements
- Native English speaker with excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, English Language Teaching, or a closely related field; a specialization in English is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of proven teaching experience in secondary or higher‑education settings.
- Deep subject knowledge and instructional expertise, including familiarity with modern ESL/EFL methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and cross‑cultural communication skills, able to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Availability to commence employment in August 2026.
- Flexibility to work six days per week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
