Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Experienced Teacher of Music to join our vibrant school community. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to inspire young musicians, cultivate advanced vocal and violin talent, and contribute to a dynamic arts curriculum that embraces a wide range of musical genres. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, creating a supportive and professional learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and artistic growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging private and group lessons that focus on advanced vocal and violin techniques, comprehensive music theory, and expressive performance across classical, contemporary, and world‑music styles.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress, providing detailed, constructive feedback and personalized coaching to prepare learners for recitals, competitions, and school events.
- Design, maintain, and continuously adapt a creative, standards‑aligned curriculum that meets individual student needs while promoting collective musical development.
- Collaborate with school administration and fellow faculty to support institutional events, concerts, workshops, and community outreach programs.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in music pedagogy, incorporating innovative teaching methods, technology, and repertoire into lesson plans.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, and performance evaluations in accordance with school policies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere that respects diverse cultural backgrounds and learning styles.
- Participate in professional development sessions, faculty meetings, and parent‑teacher conferences to ensure alignment with the school’s educational mission.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Music Education, Performance, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in both vocal and violin instruction, with at least two years of experience teaching advanced students.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, ear training, sight‑reading, and repertoire across multiple genres.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating students of varying ages and abilities.
- Ability to design differentiated lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Proficiency with digital music tools and classroom technology (e.g., notation software, recording equipment, virtual learning platforms).
- Organizational competence for maintaining detailed records, scheduling lessons, and coordinating performances.
