Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Provide product recommendations, share information on new arrivals, and promote ongoing promotions or special offers.
- Answer customer inquiries promptly, helping them locate items and resolve any product‑related questions.
- Maintain an orderly sales floor by arranging merchandise, creating appealing displays, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized.
- Address customer complaints at the first point of contact and promptly inform the Store Team Leader of any escalated issues.
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming stock, as well as process outgoing shipments and inventory transfers.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately using the POS system, EDC, QRIS, and other payment tools.
- Conduct regular stock counts, identify low‑stock items, and generate periodic inventory reports for management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute ideas for improving store performance.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on product knowledge, customer service excellence, and POS system updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a cashier or retail sales role, preferably with POS system proficiency.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
- Proven ability to handle both cash and non‑cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic devices such as barcode scanners and payment terminals.
- Detail‑oriented, honest, and trustworthy, with a strong sense of responsibility for cash handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends (Tuesday to Sunday, 08:00‑17:00), and meet sales targets.
- Capability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
