Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collector to join our dynamic team covering the Bitung region. This role is essential to maintaining healthy cash flow for our organization by engaging directly with customers, collecting outstanding payments, and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of the local area, and the ability to work independently while meeting ambitious collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to residential and commercial customers to initiate and follow up on debt collection activities.
- Negotiate repayment plans that align with company policies while preserving customer goodwill.
- Collect payments in cash, bank transfer, or mobile payment platforms and issue receipts promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of visited accounts, payment status, and any disputes or escalations.
- Prepare and submit detailed visit reports, including geographic mapping of collection routes and performance metrics.
- Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly collection targets set by the regional supervisor.
- Collaborate with the finance and customer service teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Identify patterns of delinquency and provide feedback to the credit risk department for preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including data privacy and vehicle safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 40 years; maximum age limit of 45 years for senior roles.
- At least 1‑2 years of proven experience in field collection or a related sales/negotiation role.
- Own a valid motorcycle ( roda dua ) and a current SIM C driver’s license.
- Deep familiarity with the Bitung area, including key neighborhoods, commercial districts, and transportation routes.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and persuasive negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a daily schedule efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting (MS Excel, mobile reporting tools).
