Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers by conducting community outreach, attending local events, and leveraging personal networks to grow Amartha’s member base.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling and support to household members, helping them manage budgets, improve savings habits, and prepare for loan repayment.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports and present them to the Credit Committee for final approval, highlighting creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
- Accompany members to weekly meetings, facilitate transactions, and act as a liaison between clients and Amartha’s operational teams.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, field observations, and loan performance in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with regional managers to develop localized strategies that address specific socioeconomic challenges in the Palembang area.
- Participate in regular training sessions and professional development workshops to stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is a strong advantage.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Open to all genders.
- Possession of a two‑wheel motor vehicle (motorcycle) for field travel.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Palembang and travel to other Amartha branches as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Flexibility to reside in company‑provided mess housing during assignment periods.
- Either a fresh graduate with a passion for community development or a candidate with relevant field experience.
