As a courier, you will be the frontline ambassador of our brand, ensuring parcels reach customers quickly, safely, and with a smile. Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from J&T Express hubs or partner locations and deliver them to residential, commercial, or business addresses within the assigned delivery zone.
- Verify package integrity, scan barcodes using a smartphone, and update delivery status in real‑time through the J&T mobile application.
- Maintain accurate records of delivered, undelivered, and returned items, and report any discrepancies to the operations supervisor.
- Plan and optimize daily routes to maximize efficiency while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers, answering basic inquiries about shipment status and handling special delivery instructions.
- Conduct routine checks of your personal vehicle (fuel, tire pressure, brakes) to ensure it remains road‑worthy and compliant with company safety policies.
- Assist with on‑site sorting and loading of packages during peak periods, helping the hub team meet volume targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new technology, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or incidents promptly to the safety department for proper documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Own a reliable motorbike or car with valid registration and insurance.
- Smartphone equipped with at least 3 GB RAM capable of running the J&T delivery app.
- Deep knowledge of the local delivery area and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Age limit: up to 40 years (both male and female applicants are welcome).
- Strong adaptability and quick learning ability to handle changing delivery volumes.
- Basic literacy in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to read addresses and communicate clearly with customers.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
