Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Teknisi Perawatan Peralatan to join our operations team in Kendari. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth functioning of restaurant equipment, from kitchen appliances to HVAC and plumbing systems, across our nationwide network of dining establishments. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on kitchen equipment such as fryers, noodle boilers, griddles, cup sealers, and cold storage units.
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that affect daily restaurant operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Replace faulty components, calibrate machines, and conduct safety checks in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Document all work performed in daily service reports, including problem descriptions, corrective actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to the company’s occupational health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and the central maintenance team to schedule downtime and prioritize tasks.
- Participate in shift rotations, providing 24‑hour coverage to support restaurant openings, peak service periods, and emergency repairs.
- Assist in training junior technicians and share best practices for equipment handling and troubleshooting.
- Travel to various locations throughout Indonesia as required, with a primary assignment in the Kendari area.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- At least 2‑4 years of proven experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) maintenance, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Hands‑on experience with kitchen equipment such as boilers, griddles, fryers, and cold storage systems.
- Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends, to align with restaurant operating hours (07:00‑16:00, Monday‑Sunday).
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Core soft skills: honesty, discipline, responsibility, loyalty, creativity, hard‑working attitude, proactivity, innovation, and high dedication.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing.
- Male candidates only, as per current operational requirements.
- Readiness to be deployed anywhere in Indonesia, with an initial posting in Kendari.
