In this role you will lead the creation, testing, and launch of innovative drink concepts that meet evolving consumer tastes and market trends. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on barista expertise with a strategic mindset, and is ready to drive product excellence from idea through commercial rollout.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and consumer trend analysis to identify opportunities for new beverage categories.
- Develop product concepts, formulate recipes, and oversee pilot‑scale testing in collaboration with the R&D kitchen.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure feasibility, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with food‑safety standards.
- Lead sensory evaluation sessions, gather feedback, and iterate formulations to achieve optimal taste, aroma, and visual appeal.
- Prepare detailed product specifications, standard operating procedures, and launch packs for manufacturing.
- Monitor product performance post‑launch, analyze sales data, and recommend enhancements or line extensions.
- Maintain a strong relationship with external suppliers, ingredient vendors, and packaging partners.
- Train junior staff and barista crew on new product preparation techniques and quality standards.
- Ensure all product development activities align with the company’s sustainability and branding guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 20 – 30 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Marital Status: Preferably single (as per company policy for certain shift schedules).
- Work Experience: At least 1 year in a restaurant, café, or beverage‑focused environment, with hands‑on barista experience.
- Transportation: Own vehicle is a strong advantage for site visits and off‑site testing.
- Core Skills: High initiative, creativity, strong communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with beverage formulation, basic food‑technology principles, and ability to use barista equipment proficiently.
- Soft Skills: Team‑player attitude, adaptability to fast‑paced environments, and a customer‑centric mindset.
- Availability: Ready to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
