We are currently seeking a diligent Mandor Operasi Proyek Konstruksi (Construction Project Foreman) to join our dynamic field team and ensure that our construction sites operate smoothly, safely, and in strict accordance with design specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on‑site activities to guarantee that work progresses according to the approved project plan, technical specifications, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate the workflow of subcontractors, labor crews, and material deliveries to maintain the project schedule and avoid delays.
- Conduct regular inspections of work quality, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client expectations.
- Interpret and communicate complex construction drawings and engineering documents to site personnel, translating technical language into actionable tasks.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress logs, and incident records, and submit them to the Project Manager for review.
- Identify potential risks or bottlenecks early, propose corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Foster a disciplined, collaborative environment by leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and team meetings.
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are used properly, regularly inspected, and stored securely.
- Assist in the procurement and verification of construction materials, confirming that they meet project specifications before use.
- Support the Project Manager in liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities when site visits or inspections are required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; SMK (Bangunan/ Teknik Sipil) is also acceptable with relevant experience.
- Age: Maximum 30 years (for the male candidate requirement previously indicated).
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Field Supervisor or Construction Foreman on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and as‑built documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to coordinate effectively with diverse teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated traits of hard work, discipline, honesty, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and keep detailed documentation.
- Willingness to be assigned to project locations throughout the region and to work a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Physical fitness to perform on‑site duties, including occasional lifting, climbing, and exposure to varied weather conditions.
