Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, software engineering, data science, and related subjects.
- Prepare comprehensive lecture materials, assignments, and examinations that align with current industry standards and academic best practices.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them through project work, internships, and career planning.
- Conduct original research, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at national and international conferences.
- Collaborate with industry partners to create internship opportunities, joint research projects, and guest‑lecture series.
- Participate in curriculum review committees, ensuring courses remain relevant and incorporate emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Contribute to departmental administration, including committee work, accreditation activities, and student assessment processes.
- Maintain an active presence in the academic community through workshops, seminars, and professional development events.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, handling high‑pressure situations such as exam periods or research grant deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum Master’s degree (M.S.) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level; a Ph.D. is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least two years of professional experience in a relevant technical field or academic research.
- Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and responsibility; commitment to academic excellence.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments and also thrive when working independently.
- Capability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#), database management, and modern development tools.
- Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) diploma; however, candidates with higher academic credentials will be prioritized.
