Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on electric bicycles and motorbikes, identifying issues with batteries, controllers, motors, and wiring.
  • Execute repairs and component replacements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain detailed service records using our digital management system, tracking parts used, labor hours, and customer feedback.
  • Provide clear, courteous explanations of repair procedures and recommended maintenance to customers, enhancing their confidence in electric mobility.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to manage inventory levels, order low‑stock components, and reduce downtime.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new technicians, sharing best practices for troubleshooting and customer interaction.
  • Operate the company’s pick‑up vehicle for on‑site service calls, delivering parts or performing field repairs as needed.
  • Participate in regular technical training sessions to stay current with emerging electric vehicle technologies and industry trends.
  • Work under pressure to meet daily repair targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, workshop layout optimization, and customer experience enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; preferably a diploma in Automotive Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in mechanical repair or customer service within the electric vehicle sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electric bicycle components, battery management systems, motor control units, and basic circuitry.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with a proven track record of accurate diagnosis and efficient repair.
  • Personal attributes: honesty, responsibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask between technical work and customer interaction.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to operate a company pick‑up truck; prior driving experience is a plus, and training will be provided if needed.
  • Flexibility to be stationed at the Mitra Sejati branch in Blitar and to travel to satellite locations when required.
  • Readiness to undergo technical training programs and adapt quickly to new tools and procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment, meeting repair targets without compromising quality.
