Responsibilities
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing merchandise within the warehouse or retail outlet, ensuring items are placed in the correct locations according to standard operating procedures.
- Follow clear instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor or Store Manager, adapting quickly to changing priorities and daily work plans.
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members, maintaining open communication to coordinate tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and uphold safety standards.
- Achieve daily sorting targets, accurately processing the required volume of packages within each shift while maintaining high quality.
- Perform loading and unloading of pallets, crates, and individual parcels using manual handling techniques and, when applicable, powered equipment.
- Scan each package using handheld or fixed barcode scanners to update inventory systems in real time, ensuring traceability and accurate record‑keeping.
- Conduct routine checks of warehouse equipment, report any malfunctions, and follow proper housekeeping practices to keep the work area clean and safe.
- Support periodic inventory counts and assist in the preparation of shipment documentation as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Junior High School (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, as the role involves manual handling tasks that currently require a gender‑specific workforce according to company policy.
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training for the right attitude and work ethic.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, follow instructions, and operate scanning devices.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including potential night shifts.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Awareness of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a hazard‑free workplace.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management and logistics processes is a plus, though not mandatory.
