Introduction
Pekajangan Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic full‑time Waitstaff to join our vibrant dining team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and escort them to their tables with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, answer questions about dishes and beverages, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to portion standards.
- Monitor tables throughout service, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any additional guest needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and restocking service items.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waiters to coordinate smooth service flow.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, process receipts, and balance end‑of‑shift reports.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefs to share feedback and improve overall service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old.
- Gender: Female applicants are preferred for this specific opening.
- At least 0‑12 months of experience in the food & beverage (F&B) industry; prior waitstaff or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Team player who can cooperate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management staff.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic; punctuality is essential.
- Ability to work full‑time schedules: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Must not be currently enrolled in school or university programs.
- Basic proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including table setting, order taking, and serving etiquette.
