Obihiro Nikudon, a fast‑growing Japanese‑style noodle and rice bowl restaurant, is preparing for its grand opening at Paskal 23. To deliver the high‑standard dining experience our guests expect, we are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our front‑of‑house team as Restaurant Waitstaff. Responsibilities
- Prepare the front‑of‑house area before opening by ensuring all tables, chairs, menus, and service stations are spotless and properly arranged.
- Inspect and verify that all raw materials and display items are fresh, properly stocked, and presented according to brand standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable dining environment throughout the shift, promptly addressing any spills or hazards.
- Greet every customer with a warm, friendly demeanor, guide them through the menu, and answer any questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions.
- Take orders accurately, suggest appropriate add‑ons, and relay information to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments, and issue receipts while adhering to cash‑handling policies.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and other front‑of‑house team members to ensure timely service and smooth operation.
- Follow food hygiene and safety protocols, including proper hand washing, equipment sanitation, and temperature monitoring.
- Participate in shift handovers, reporting any issues, inventory discrepancies, or customer feedback to management.
- Be flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and occasional overtime during peak periods or special events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a background in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Tourism are strongly preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role such as store crew, cashier, greeter, or waiter in the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) industry.
- Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards; certifications or formal training are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (and preferably basic English) to interact effectively with guests and teammates.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong customer‑service orientation, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to adapt to a fast‑moving, high‑energy environment.
