Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Keamanan Kantor for our rapidly expanding hand‑phone distribution center located in Banjarmasin. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding personnel, inventory, and the overall operational environment of the facility. The successful candidate will be the first line of defense, ensuring that all visitors, employees, and assets are protected in accordance with industry‑standard security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the office premises, warehouses, and loading docks to detect and deter potential security breaches.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying identification of visitors and drivers, and maintaining accurate logs of entry and exit.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, emergency calls, and any incidents such as theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate findings to management and relevant authorities in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when situations require external assistance.
- Maintain and operate security equipment, including CCTV systems, metal detectors, and communication devices.
- Participate in regular security training sessions and drills to stay current with best practices and legal requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of crowd‑control measures during special events, deliveries, or peak operational periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors courteously while enforcing security policies.
- Support the development of improved security procedures by offering feedback based on on‑site observations.
Requirements
- Male candidate, aged 35 years or younger.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a security or related role.
- Completed professional security training with a valid Gada Pratama certificate.
- Active membership card from a recognized security association.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
- High level of personal integrity, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
- Residency in Banjarmasin or willingness to relocate.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to changing situations, and remain calm under pressure.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to emergencies throughout the workday.
