Introduction

Mie Gacoan, a rapidly expanding Indonesian noodle brand, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its crew as Crew Set Up Perbantuan – Pelatihan Makassar Raya. This position is designed for fresh graduates or candidates with a short background in food & beverage service who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in restaurant operations, from grand opening launches to day‑to‑day service at existing outlets across Indonesia. The successful candidates will undergo an intensive three‑month training program at the Makassar Raya facility, followed by a minimum six‑month assignment to support various Mie Gacoan locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and set‑up of new restaurant sites, ensuring all equipment, signage, and seating arrangements meet brand standards.
  • Support grand opening events by coordinating with kitchen staff, front‑of‑house teams, and management to deliver a seamless launch experience.
  • Perform daily operational tasks such as opening and closing cash registers, managing POS systems, and handling customer orders with accuracy and speed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, kitchen stations, and storage facilities in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Participate actively in the three‑month training program, mastering barista skills, cash handling, order processing, and traditional Indonesian noodle preparation.
  • Adapt to a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the operational needs of various locations.
  • Document and report any operational challenges or suggestions for improvement to the regional manager.
  • Collaborate with fellow crew members to ensure smooth workflow during peak periods and special promotions.

Requirements

  • Maximum age of 30 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduate or at least 3 months of experience in the food & beverage industry.
  • Willingness to work on a shifting system and travel to different restaurant sites across Indonesia.
  • Commitment to a minimum 6‑month assignment after completing the training program.
  • Never been employed by Mie Gacoan previously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic proficiency in barista operations, cash‑register handling, and customer service.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting of supplies and equipment.
  • Open to all genders and diverse backgrounds.
