Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Professional Baker to join our fast‑growing industrial bake‑out team. This role focuses on producing high‑quality French‑style pastries and breads such as croissants, egg tarts, choux, and toasted loaves for a nationwide distribution network. The successful candidate will work in a modern, safety‑first kitchen environment, collaborating with a skilled crew to meet strict production schedules while maintaining the artisanal standards our brand is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and proof dough for croissants, choux, and other laminated pastries, ensuring consistent texture and flavor.
  • Shape, score, and bake French‑style breads, applying precise techniques to achieve the desired crust and crumb.
  • Execute the full production cycle for egg tarts and bread toast, from ingredient measurement to final plating.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and baking times, adjusting parameters to maintain product uniformity across large batches.
  • Conduct regular quality‑control checks, documenting weight, appearance, and taste to meet internal and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain meticulous sanitation practices, following HACCP guidelines and local food‑safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, rotating stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Train junior bakers and kitchen assistants on pastry techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the production manager to forecast demand, schedule shifts, and optimize workflow.
  • Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting new recipes, process enhancements, or equipment upgrades.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: No upper limit, but candidates should be under 26 years old for this posting.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 – 2 years of hands‑on experience making croissants, egg tarts, choux, and bread toast.
  • Proven ability to shape dough, create precise scoring patterns, and produce authentic French‑style breads.
  • Strong understanding of pastry fundamentals, baking methods, and proper use of industrial kitchen equipment.
  • Knowledge of food‑safety standards, sanitation practices, and HACCP compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • High level of commitment, energy, friendliness, and a positive attitude.
  • Availability to work Tuesday through Sunday, 08:00 – 17:00.
