Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista Professional to join our vibrant coffee shop located in Banguntapan. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty beverages, following standardized recipes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and dining area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and ensure accurate order taking.
- Engage with customers, provide product recommendations, and answer questions about menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages to management.
- Assist in training new team members on barista techniques, service protocols, and safety procedures.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including full‑day or rotating shift patterns, and be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Uphold the brand’s visual standards by maintaining a tidy appearance and presenting a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
- Participate in periodic quality control checks and contribute ideas for menu enhancements or operational improvements.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (preference) – however, the role is open to all qualified candidates.
- Age: Maximum 25 years.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Honesty, discipline, agility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Attractive personal appearance and professional grooming.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
- Willingness to work full‑time or shift schedules, including weekends.
- Prior experience in the F&B sector, especially as a barista, is highly preferred.
- Not currently enrolled in a university program.
- Possession of a valid, active SKCK (Police Clearance Letter).
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and a genuine passion for coffee culture.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
