Responsibilities
- Engage customers entering the store, offering product information, promotions, and personalized recommendations.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, conducting live demonstrations when applicable.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets by actively upselling and cross‑selling complementary items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing promotional display area.
- Collect and report customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to the store manager.
- Assist with inventory checks, ensuring promotional stock levels are adequate.
- Handle cash transactions and issue receipts accurately when required.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products, sales techniques, and store policies.
- Uphold Hypermart’s brand standards, including professional appearance, personal hygiene, and a friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to store operating hours (Monday‑Sunday, 08:00‑17:00) and maintain punctuality.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven sales experience; candidates should be comfortable with technology and not be “gaptek.”
- Physical Requirements: Minimum height – males 165 cm, females 155 cm.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Personal Traits: Well‑groomed, pleasant fragrance, and a neat appearance.
- Skills: Strong communication and persuasion abilities, basic numeracy for handling cash, and the capacity to work under target‑driven pressure.
- Professional Conduct: Must not wear religious symbols or attire while on duty.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
