Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC to join our growing team in the vibrant city of Tarakan. The role focuses on canvassing small and medium‑size enterprises (UMKM) and presenting them with our cutting‑edge Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machines, which enable fast, secure, and cashless transactions. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, comfortable driving throughout the city, and able to consistently meet a target of 2‑3 new merchant sign‑ups per day while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and engage prospective UMKM owners through door‑to‑door visits, phone calls, and local networking events.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations of EDC devices, highlighting features such as real‑time transaction reporting, low‑fee processing, and integration with mobile wallets.
- Negotiate contract terms, complete onboarding paperwork, and ensure seamless installation and activation of the EDC units.
- Maintain a daily activity log and update the CRM system with accurate prospect information, sales stages, and follow‑up actions.
- Achieve a minimum sales quota of 2‑3 new merchant accounts per working day, while striving to exceed monthly targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical support teams to address merchant inquiries, resolve issues quickly, and gather feedback for product improvements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and local business needs to propose strategic sales initiatives.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, share best practices, and contribute to team‑wide performance metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably in financial services, point‑of‑sale equipment, or related technology.
- Valid Indonesian driving licence (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for daily canvassing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse business owners.
- Self‑discipline, time‑management, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict daily targets.
- Basic analytical abilities to interpret sales data, track conversion rates, and suggest process enhancements.
- Open to working flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
