Introduction

We are a leading Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company seeking a dynamic Sales Area Pengambilan Order (TO) to join our Jambi team. The role is focused on direct order taking, customer relationship management, and expanding our market presence in the Jambi region. Ideal candidates are self‑motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and are ready to represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned retail outlets, supermarkets, and small stores within the Jambi territory to collect daily orders and ensure accurate order entry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store owners, managers, and key decision‑makers to foster repeat business.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by promoting product range, introducing new SKUs, and executing promotional activities.
  • Provide product knowledge, merchandising support, and on‑site assistance to maximize shelf visibility and stock availability.
  • Report market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to the regional sales manager for strategic planning.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date customer database using company CRM tools, ensuring all interactions are logged accurately.
  • Handle cash or electronic transactions when required and reconcile daily sales reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local licensing requirements, including valid SIM C and a road‑worthy motorbike.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, sales meetings, and performance reviews to continuously improve sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK/Sederajat (high school diploma or equivalent).
  • Age: 30 years old or younger.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG sector (direct sales, sales canvasser, or similar).
  • Fresh graduates are welcome provided they demonstrate strong motivation and a willingness to learn.
  • Residence within or near the Jambi area and willingness to cover the designated sales territory.
  • Own a reliable motorbike and a valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C).
  • Proficient in using Android smartphones, mobile applications, and basic office software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong analytical mindset to assess competitor activities and identify growth opportunities.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and capable of managing time effectively across a six‑day workweek (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00).
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving sales targets and a genuine passion for the FMCG industry.
