Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Medical Representative – Area Jawa Tengah to join our growing team. In this role you will be the frontline champion for our medical products, focusing on the midwife (bidan) channel across key districts in Central Java. You will be responsible for driving sales, building strong professional relationships, and ensuring that our portfolio is well‑understood and effectively utilized by healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, scheduled visits to midwives and related healthcare facilities to provide product detailing, education, and support.
- Assess product availability at each customer location, identify gaps, and proactively facilitate ordering processes.
- Assist customers with order placement, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.
- Manage the collection of outstanding receivables, adhering to agreed payment terms and following up on overdue invoices.
- Develop and maintain a Master Customer List (MCL) and a Fixed Journey Plan to guarantee comprehensive coverage of all assigned accounts.
- Achieve defined sales KPIs, including value and volume targets, outlet transaction coverage, and timely receivable collection.
- Coordinate trade and marketing programs, ensuring equitable distribution and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports that capture performance metrics, trade activity, and market insights.
- Build and nurture professional relationships with midwives, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other HCPs, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and sales strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any major); a background in science or health‑related fields is a strong advantage.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a medical or sales representative handling health‑care products, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong ethical standards, honesty, and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage HCPs such as doctors, nurses, midwives, and pharmacists.
- Proficiency in planning and executing detailed sales visits and customer coverage plans.
- Possession of a valid motorbike (SIM C) and up‑to‑date vehicle registration documents.
- Ability to analyze sales data, generate actionable insights, and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Flexibility to work in the assigned districts: Blora, Rembang, Tuban, Bantul, Banyumas, and Cilacap.
- Willingness to work standard business hours (08:00‑17:00) with the possibility of occasional overtime to meet targets.
