Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging German language lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, aligning with national standards and the CEFR framework.
- Develop customized teaching materials, including worksheets, multimedia presentations, and interactive online resources.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as conversation clubs, cultural workshops, and German film screenings to deepen cultural immersion.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices, coordinate cross‑subject projects, and maintain a cohesive curriculum.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and student performance reports in the school’s management system.
- Participate in professional development sessions, seminars, and language conferences to stay current with pedagogical trends.
- Provide mentorship to junior teachers and assist in onboarding new staff members.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum S1 degree in German Literature, German Language Education, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of documented teaching experience, preferably in a classroom or online environment.
- Gender Preference: Female candidates under the age of 40 are strongly preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Native‑level command of German and strong proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English for effective communication.
- Teaching Skills: Ability to develop lesson plans, employ varied instructional strategies, and adapt content to diverse learning styles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a strong commitment to student success.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with digital teaching tools such as LMS platforms, video conferencing software, and interactive whiteboards.
