Introduction
The Senior Field Collector (KARO) is a pivotal role within our fast‑growing financial services division. As a senior collector, you will act as the front‑line liaison between the company and its valued customers, ensuring timely repayment of outstanding balances while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy. This position is based in Indonesia and requires frequent travel throughout assigned territories to engage directly with clients, resolve payment issues, and uphold the company’s reputation for reliability and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive field visits to customers for debt collection, following a structured schedule that maximizes coverage and efficiency.
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements, tailoring solutions to each client’s financial situation while meeting company targets.
- Collect payments on site, process cash or electronic transfers, and issue receipts in accordance with internal controls.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, including status updates, client feedback, and any escalated issues.
- Map and maintain accurate records of the assigned geographic area, identifying high‑risk zones and opportunities for improved collection strategies.
- Collaborate with the credit and legal teams to forward delinquent accounts that require further action.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries, clarifying account details, and building long‑term relationships that encourage future compliance.
- Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to stay current on collection best practices, regulatory changes, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years; maximum age: 40 years.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the posting.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a collector or field debt recovery professional.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle.
- Thorough knowledge of the local area, including neighborhoods, key landmarks, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
