Responsibilities
- Purchasing Management
- Lead end‑to‑end procurement cycles, from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements with suppliers to secure competitive rates without compromising quality.
- Validate authenticity, purity, and quality of all purchased goods, especially high‑value items such as jewelry and precious metals.
- Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date Purchase Order (PO) system, including supporting documentation for audit trails.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular and ad‑hoc stock‑takes, and reconcile physical counts with system data.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock turnover and reduce excess inventory.
- Finance Operations
- Oversee daily cash inflows and outflows, guaranteeing that all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform detailed daily reconciliations to eliminate discrepancies and ensure a zero‑difference ledger.
- Prepare timely financial statements and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for senior leadership.
- Control supplier payments, ensuring invoices are settled on or before due dates while leveraging early‑payment discounts where feasible.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all financial data and adhere to internal control standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide strategic decision‑making.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior staff in both purchasing and finance functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects with sales, marketing, and operations to align procurement and financial strategies with overall business goals.
- Act as a key point of contact for auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and rapid resolution of any findings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or a bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in purchasing or finance, preferably within retail or jewelry sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier negotiation tactics, and contract management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- High ethical standards: honesty, discipline, meticulousness, and uncompromising integrity.
- Clean credit and background checks (BI Checking / SLIK OJK) with no adverse records.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to present financial data clearly.
- Analytical mindset for budget analysis, cost control, and performance reporting.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 07:30 – 16:30, with occasional urgent tasks outside regular hours.
