As a Bancassurance Specialist, you will act as the key liaison between BNI Life and BNI’s retail banking branches, promoting individual life‑insurance solutions to bank customers. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life‑insurance products within assigned BNI branch outlets.
- Conduct proactive prospecting, needs analysis, and product presentations to both existing and new bank customers.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, schedule appointments, and follow up to close sales while meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
- Collaborate closely with branch managers and bank staff to integrate insurance offerings into the branch’s overall service proposition.
- Provide accurate product information, answer policy‑related queries, and guide customers through the application and underwriting process.
- Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and adjust strategies based on market feedback and branch performance metrics.
- Participate in continuous training programs, staying current on product updates, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Represent BNI Life at internal banking events, community outreach programs, and industry seminars to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and the ethical standards set by AAJI (Association of Indonesian Insurance Companies), noting that candidates must not be listed as an active AAJI member.
- Foster strong, trust‑based relationships with both internal stakeholders (bank staff) and external clients (policyholders) to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 graduates from any discipline are also encouraged to apply.
- Age: 20‑35 years (SMA pathway) or 22‑35 years (D3/S1 pathway).
- At least 1‑2 years of proven experience in marketing or sales within the financial services or insurance sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, present, and close complex insurance deals.
- Professional appearance and a tidy, presentable demeanor.
- High level of self‑motivation, goal‑orientation, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for sales, with a genuine interest in helping customers secure their financial future.
- Not currently registered as an active member of AAJI.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional travel to branch locations within West Jakarta and surrounding areas.
