Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in strict accordance with established recipes, SOPs, and plating standards.
  • Oversee the daily preparation of ingredients, ensuring proper portioning, storage, and labeling to minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment by supervising sanitation procedures, equipment cleaning, and station upkeep.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, monitor stock rotations, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries of fresh produce and pantry items.
  • Develop and adjust work schedules for kitchen staff, balancing labor costs with service demand while fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food taste, temperature, and presentation to meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Implement and enforce food safety regulations, including HACCP, allergen control, and temperature monitoring.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen personnel, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house managers to synchronize service flow, reduce order turnaround times, and handle special event catering.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
