Introduction
We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Sales and Customer Service Staff to join our fast‑growing retail outlet. This role is ideal for a final‑year university student or recent graduate who is passionate about retail, enjoys interacting with customers, and has a basic talent for cooking or baking. The position offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, providing valuable experience in both sales and food‑service operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations that increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout, ensuring shelves are stocked, labeled, and clean at all times.
- Process transactions accurately using the store management system, handling cash, cards, and digital payments.
- Assist in the preparation of basic pastry and baked goods, following hygiene standards and recipes.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism, aiming for first‑contact resolution.
- Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, reporting discrepancies, and participating in ordering cycles.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily sales targets and promotional goals.
- Participate in weekly briefings and training sessions to stay updated on new products, promotions, and store policies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, especially when working in the kitchen area, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Provide feedback to management on customer trends, product performance, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Currently in the final semester of university studies or completing a thesis (referred to as “skripsi azza”).
- Basic cooking skills; experience with pastry or baking is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday through Saturday.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Proficiency in using a store management system or willingness to learn quickly.
- Team player with a positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
