Introduction
We are a fast‑growing supermarket retailer seeking a diligent Warehouse Receiving Staff (Staf Receiving Barang di Gudang) to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that every shipment entering our distribution center is accurately inspected, recorded, and stored, helping us maintain the high product availability that our customers expect. Responsibilities
- Receive inbound shipments from suppliers, verify documentation, and ensure the correct delivery schedule is followed.
- Inspect each item for quantity, condition, and compliance with purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Enter accurate receiving data into the warehouse management system, including batch numbers, expiration dates, and location codes.
- Organize and store goods in designated storage zones, following FIFO (first‑in‑first‑out) principles to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, orderly receiving area, adhering to safety standards and conducting routine housekeeping tasks.
- Coordinate with the purchasing and inventory control teams to resolve issues such as damaged goods, over‑shipments, or missing items.
- Assist in the preparation of daily receiving reports for management review.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and support audit activities as required.
- Handle returns and reverse logistics processes, ensuring proper documentation and disposition of returned merchandise.
- Promote a culture of honesty, accountability, and teamwork within the warehouse floor.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.

- Excellent communication skills; ability to interact courteously with suppliers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Physical fitness to stand, lift up to 25 kg, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and responsibility.
- Basic computer literacy, especially with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
