Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Staff Ekspor dan Impor Internasional to join our dynamic logistics team. This pivotal role supports the end‑to‑end movement of goods across borders, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations while providing seamless service to our clients. The position is based in a modern office environment with a structured Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule (08:00‑17:00) and offers the opportunity to develop a career in the fast‑growing field of export‑import (EXIM) logistics.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit export and import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal departments to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
- Monitor shipment status, track containers, and provide proactive updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable national and international trade regulations, tariffs, and embargoes.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s ERP system and generate regular reports on trade volumes, costs, and performance metrics.
- Assist in negotiating freight rates and service agreements with carriers to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
- Support the finance team with invoicing, cost allocation, and reconciliation of trade‑related expenses.
- Conduct periodic audits of documentation and processes to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risk.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on best practices in EXIM operations.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings to align logistics strategies with sales, procurement, and compliance teams.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline is preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in export‑import operations or related logistics functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with trade management software.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage.
