Introduction

The Supervisor Operasional Minimarket is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of a busy convenience store that serves a diverse community while upholding strong Islamic values. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that the store meets sales targets, maintains optimal inventory levels, delivers exceptional customer service, and operates in strict compliance with company policies and local regulations. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reconciliations.
  • Lead, coach, and schedule a team of cashiers, stock clerks, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and high morale.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent stock‑outs or overstock situations.
  • Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, adjust merchandising strategies, and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure product placement aligns with promotional calendars, and keep the store environment clean and welcoming.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty building.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and security protocols, including loss‑prevention measures and emergency procedures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field; a degree related to Business, Management, or Retail is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in retail or minimarket operations, with a proven track record of supervisory responsibilities.
  • Male, Muslim, and under the age of 45, with a strong personal commitment to Islamic dakwah and ethical conduct.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey instructions clearly and motivate a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities, including conflict resolution and performance coaching.
  • Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset to interpret sales reports, forecast demand, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Adaptability to emerging retail technologies and evolving customer preferences.
  • Non‑smoker; maintains a healthy lifestyle that aligns with company health policies.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, from 07:00 to 16:00, with occasional flexibility for special promotions or events.
