Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Waiter – Front of House Service to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional dining experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well‑served. As the face of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating a warm atmosphere, handling orders efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of daily specials and dietary options.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate special requests to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve meals and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery.
  • Monitor table conditions, refill drinks, and respond to guest needs throughout the dining experience.
  • Handle payments, process credit card transactions, and issue receipts while maintaining accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and support staff to coordinate service flow and resolve any issues quickly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables according to hygiene standards.
  • Adhere to all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in training new team members and share best practices for service excellence.
  • Work effectively under high‑pressure periods, such as peak lunch and dinner rushes, while preserving a calm and courteous demeanor.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Open to all age groups; no maximum age limit.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome.
  • Experience: Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality service is preferred, though we also consider motivated candidates with a strong desire to learn.
  • Key Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
    • Capability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tables simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including knowledge of menu items, wine pairing basics, and allergen awareness.
  • Availability: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
