Introduction
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Tax Accounting and Compliance Specialist to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization meets all statutory tax obligations while maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting in accordance with Indonesian regulations. The ideal candidate will be a detail‑oriented professional with a solid background in accounting and tax, capable of navigating complex tax environments and contributing to continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, including PPh and PPN, using the E‑SPT and Coretax platforms.
- Maintain accurate tax provision calculations and ensure timely payment of taxes to avoid penalties.
- Interpret and apply the latest Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) to guarantee compliance across all financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audit cycles, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Manage the integration of tax data within the ERP system (e.g., Accurate), ensuring data integrity and real‑time reporting.
- Conduct periodic tax risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential exposure.
- Support the finance team in preparing management reports, budgeting, and forecasting activities related to tax liabilities.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation, industry best practices, and emerging technologies that could impact tax compliance.
- Mentor junior accounting staff on tax procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments—such as procurement, sales, and legal—to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions.
Requirements
- Female candidates aged between 26 and 35 years.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Financial Management.
- At least 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in accounting and tax roles, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards) and Indonesian tax regulations, especially PPh and PPN.
- Proficiency in tax filing software (E‑SPT, Coretax) and ERP systems such as Accurate.
- Preferably holds Brevet A & B tax certificates.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and reports.
- Key soft skills: high integrity, discipline, resilience, strong communication, creativity, and a proactive attitude.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle pressure without being easily offended.
