Introduction
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Freelance EDC Technicians in the Wilayah Kolaka Timur area. This role focuses on on‑site support for electronic data capture (EDC) devices used by merchants for card transactions. As a freelance technician, you will enjoy a flexible work arrangement while contributing to the smooth operation of payment services across a wide network of retail locations.
The position is open to candidates with a minimum education level of SMP/MTS (or equivalent), of any gender, and no upper age limit. Prior experience is not required because comprehensive training will be provided. If you possess a valid Android smartphone, a motorcycle, and a strong desire to work in the field, you are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled visits to assigned merchant stores within the designated Kolaka Timur area.
- Activate new EDC terminals, verify proper configuration, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on EDC devices.
- Execute on‑site repairs or coordinate with the central service hub for component replacement when necessary.
- Document each service visit in the company’s digital reporting system, capturing details of the work performed, time spent, and any follow‑up actions required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with merchants, providing clear explanations of any issues and recommended solutions.
- Achieve weekly and monthly service targets set by the operations manager, ensuring high coverage of merchant locations.
- Participate in regular training sessions and knowledge‑sharing workshops to stay current with the latest EDC technology updates.
- Report any recurring technical problems or potential product improvements to the technical support team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
