Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitising of guest rooms, suites, and public areas in accordance with Kimo Resort’s five‑star quality standards.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all furnishings, linens, and amenities are perfectly arranged and report any maintenance issues.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and coordinate with the supply department for timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk and concierge teams to accommodate special guest requests such as extra pillows, turndown service, and celebratory décor.
- Follow strict health, safety, and infection‑control protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Participate in regular training sessions on sustainable cleaning practices, cultural sensitivity, and hospitality etiquette.
- Assist in deep‑cleaning projects, carpet shampooing, and periodic room rotations while maintaining minimal disruption to guest experience.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping logs and update the property management system with room status in real time.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude by identifying opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to the resort’s code of conduct by avoiding personal phone use during working hours and respecting guest privacy at all times.
Requirements
- Age between 22 and 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of professional housekeeping experience, preferably in a high‑end hotel or resort.
- Basic proficiency in English to understand guest requests and communicate with international team members.
- Strong commitment to a minimum one‑year contract with Kimo Resort; early termination is not permitted.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Resilience under pressure, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks during peak occupancy periods.
- High initiative, quick learning ability, and a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to be stationed on Pulau Banyak for the duration of the employment.
- Basic knowledge of quality control standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
